Welcome to College Advising Corps! This video will give you a quick overview of CAC’s mission, values, approach to advising, and benefits of service.
GRACE Overview
This training will explore the importance of data tracking and provide new advisers with an overview and introduction to GRACE.
Key Performance Indicators
This training covers CAC’s six Key Performance Indicators that drive college application and enrollment. You will familiarize yourself with the definitions of each KPI and what actions do and don’t contribute toward a KPI.
GRACE: Data Collection
This training and its required pre-work lay the foundations for how advisers will use GRACE to track their data and progress toward KPIs. Advisers will have the opportunity to interact with GRACE.
Getting Started In Schools
Ready to kickstart your role? This training equips you with strategies to promote college access, engage key stakeholders, build trust with students, and take early actions that support postsecondary planning and awareness.
Advising Yearly Overview
This training gives a bird’s eye view of the year ahead. By breaking the advising cycle down into the four quarters of the year, advisers will learn what key actions, events, and outcomes are accomplished over the year.
Match & Fit
This training prepares you to use CAC's Match & Fit advising approach, understand key match and fit factors, address undermatching, and practice strategies to support students in building balanced college lists.
Career and Educational Pathways
Focusing on best-fit career and education pathways, this course will explore researching interests and careers, identifying in-demand jobs and skills, exploring high-value non-degree pathways, finding funding options, and creating action plans.
